The Terms and Conditions in this document govern the use of The Games Capital's Online Shopping Service (the Service). The Service includes shopping, returns, and participation in promotions run by The Games Capital.

The Games Capital offers an Australia Post Service Shipping within Australia.

Orders within Australia can be expected approximately 1-3 working days after the order is dispatched. Orders usually leave the warehouse within 1-5 Working Days.

In most cases, delivery can be expected within two days after dispatch.

How much will delivered goods cost me Within Australia?

Orders under $100 within Australia will be charged a flat rate of $8.90

Orders over $100 within Australia will be shipped FREE!

Pickup is available from our Canberra store, however orders will only be available for pickup after 11am the following day.

How much will courier delivered goods cost me Outside Australia?

At the current time we do not offer international shipping. 


Exchanges, Returns and Refunds

What are the Conditions on Returns and Exchanges?

The Games Capital will exchange products within 14 days of purchase as long as the product has not been opened and is in its original packaging.

Except where goods are faulty, for Refunds and Exchanges, freight costs, to return the product to us by Courier and/ or to resend the new item back to the customer are covered by the Customer.

Where goods are faulty, all Exchanges and Returns must be received by The Games Capital within 14 Days of dispatch by The Games Capital to be eligible for refund or exchange.

We are not responsible for any lost returned parcels so please send back to us via our recommended method or a traceable method such as registered post or traceable courier.

Sale or discounted items be returned for store credit only or exchange and not for refund.


Images on site

The Games Capital provides high quality pictures of our products. Please be aware that whilst we have done all we can to ensure that you see real life colour, depending on your viewing screen the colours may appear slightly different to the actual products.

Sometimes product packaging is updated, and while The Games Capital endeavours to keep images up to date, some products may show a previous version. 


Prices on The Games Capital

All prices in the shopping areas are in Australian dollars (AU$). The Games Capital takes all steps to ensure that prices are prices are correct at time of publication, however we reserve the right to alter prices should we inadvertently publish incorrect prices. If this should happen after you have ordered a product on the site and have passed through the check out, we will contact you prior to sending your order and notify you of the correct price. You will then have to choice to either proceed with your order or cancel the order.

Please be aware Prices Online may be significantly cheaper than instore, as different stock levels and promotions are run through the website only.


Price Match Policy

The Games Capital - in some instances - has different prices online versus in-store.

In the instance a product has a different price online than in-store, The Games Capital store will match the online price in-store at the customer’s request.

In the situation that a customer purchased a product in-store and subsequently discovers that the online price was lower at the time of purchase, The Games Capital will refund the difference within 14 days of purchase.

The Games Capital does not price match competitors prices.

By purchasing products or signing up for our newsletter you agree that your details including your email address, mailing address and mobile phone number may be used by us or The Games Capital to keep you informed about future products, services and events provided by either The Games Capital. If you wish to change your contact mechanism (specify direct mail, telephone or email) or opt out of any communications from The Games Capital you can do so by amending your details on our website or alternatively contact customer service on

Unless otherwise specified, sales and discounts are applied to our prices by use of a "coupon code" at the time of check out. To ensure that you obtain advertised discounts please ensure use of the relevant coupon code at check out. If you proceed through check out without use of a coupon code, please contact customer service for adjustment to your payment.
